The project is financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers for Fisheries, Aquaculture, Agriculture, Food and Forestry (MR-FJLS). EK-FJLS (Executive) has ensured that the project provides answers to key questions, offers relevant guidelines for experts and decision-makers, and disseminates policy recommendations.
A reference group consisting of representatives from relevant Nordic youth organisations in the food systems sector has ensured involvement, validation, and anchorage of the project analyses and results.
This policy brief is based on a larger report written by Maija Kāle, Jonas Kačkus Tybjerg, Karen Refsgaard, Torfi Johannesson, Eva Mærsk and Louise Vestergaard, set to launch in the second half of 2025, Growing Food(ies): Youth participation and opportunities
in the Nordic food sector.
